The little coastal town in California where I live rallied on Saturday to help bring awareness to issues of climate change.
The event was held in conjunction with similar activities held around the world. The rallies all featured the number 350, which calls attention to the measurement of parts per million of carbon dioxide emissions that the atmosphere can bear to avoid run-away global warming.
The best part about our rally was support for planting 350 pine seedlings in our forest.
I'm all about that!
