Trying out new color palettes
I've added some greys and a light violet wash to the underglazes I'm using on this series. Here's a "before" with just underglaze... and the "after" shot. These puppies were still a little warm (alright, I confess... hot!) from the kiln when this pic was taken.

these are just great!
I really like these a lot. I notice some have the black that goes over the rim and some do not. Personally, I like the ones with the black contained and the exterior glaze on the rim. The softness of the outside glazes is nice.
nothing better than hot pots... the tallest one looks like it has my favorite drawing from what i can see... beautiful
Ron - Thank you so much for the input. I've heard that from several people and I am going to make that change in my next work cycle. Also trying some softer glaze interiors so it's not such a contrast.
Well, I liked the last ones the best, but now I like these the best:) very nice!
All I CAN SAY IS BEAUTIFUL
oooh super colour palette, in reference to ron's note: its interesting eh where the line of a pot can either be perfect or not just right..i do love the paneled reverse positive idea...super!
Thanks for visiting my blog, Your work is beautiful and I would like to see the difference a soft colour interior would make.
beautiful, I like the addition of the lavender color too, can't wait to see these in person, hopefully one of these weekends real soon we'll get over there to visit, I'll let you know.
Nice new blog/website and beautiful, BEAUTIFUL new pots! Since your store is almost 3000 miles away from me....I can't just come in and buy something. Do you have a catalog or on line store? How do others usually buy from you? If I ever have the opportunity to visit Cambria, your studio/gallery is a top priority!
I like these new colours very much!
