Thanks to Mark from Seaside Cottage, I have a new "look" for my new work. Everything is brighter, more spacious, open, light-filled. So much nicer to work in.
In addition to painting the walls, I got rid of my heavy covered glass display cases, and replaced them with pieces from his store. Kind of a beachy painted furniture look... I still need to add some more mug displays like the one shown.
For the most part, I now have the pieces "out in the open" where they are more easily accessed by customers. People wander in, pick them up and often will ask a question. Even if they don't end up buying, it makes for interesting conversation and perhaps they'll come back.
Thanks Mark for all your help!
And thanks to my customers who have been so supportive of the "Endangered Series" of work. Through the end of the year, 25% of the sales from these pieces go to Friends of the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve, a beautiful area of forests, ocean bluffs, grassy meadows. It's where I get to walk my dog every day. Amazing.

Seeing everyone's beautiful showrooms is making me a tad jealous! I need to get busy on a space for myself!! Your work looks so happy there :)
Great display and love those square plates, your work looks wonderful.
The way you have merchandised your new pieces really sets them off! Sometimes change is hard, but you've made the right decision that is much more inviting and contemporary for your customers to WANT to pick up and look and buy!
Sure does make it all the more appealing.
The new colors and space set off the pots real well!
