That was the "slogan" of the taxi driver we happened to get in San Francisco last night. He called his cab the "Kaboret Kab" and launched into a song parody that was quite good and really funny. There were posters in the back that said something like... "Buzz Brogan... Manifesting more mirth!"
It was like we'd suddenly arrived on the Yellow Submarine or Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
It was a blast, and of course led to a healthy tip.
It also got us thinking... Maybe at show next weekend, I'll get my husband (not me!) to sing while I do demos. We'll call ourselves "The Serenading Ceramicists" and sell tons of "myrth mugs"... Maybe put a tip jar on the counter.
Ha!
... at least manifesting more mirth is a good idea.

that's the kind of story that makes me want to live in san francisco. not that there aren't plenty of reasons to live there for me... but alas the expense. cups look beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSan Francisco is my favorite city; I had some fun times when I lived there, the city just seems to encourage being crazy (in a good way). I'm with Judy I'm going to try using mirth as my mantra too. Love the mug on the right.
ReplyDeleteVery happy mugs! I once had a cab driver from the DFW airport rehearse his stand up comedy act for me all the way into Dallas. So much fun!
