Pedestal Forms and Line Etching


Been working on some new forms. Here's a finished piece and some at the decorating stage. I like the softer colors, on the ones shown in the first two pics. They'll become more muted with the stain and clear glaze in the next steps. I haven't yet documented the time needed to make these. But I'm sure it's atrocious!

These are great! I might have to try something similar for my handbuilding class. Oh and I missed the puppy post. Lucky you, he is very cute!

What a great form & I love the surface treatment. And what a great new addition to the family. Is he also a standard poodle? Very cute.

the form looks great... i've always been a sucker for shapes that appear top heavy with a somewhat delicate base.
