Cambria Lions roar at the Schoolhouse!

Big shout out to members of the Cambria Lions who spent last Saturday getting my new pottery/gallery ready for move-in!

It's something pretty special when your landlord is a collective of community-minded souls. They do tons of work for our town, including keeping this original schoolhouse in good form and contributing countless hours to make Cambria an awesome place to live and visit.

Thank you Cambria Lions!

Here's a few snaps from last weekend's "work day."

Jim Bevan directed clean-up of the soon-to-be kiln room. In the meantime, other members were sorting through supplies that had accumulated, replacing lights in the main schoolhouse, cleaning out closets and fixing fixtures and locks...
Here are Dixie and Jon. Dixie is the club treasurer and has a few pieces of mine in her collection! Jon is well-known in our area as a chef, and also the go-to guy to get just about anything repaired. He came back later in the week to replace some light ballasts.
