New Studio Gallery - on the move!

I'll be moving my studio and gallery this month to this awesome place:

It's an actual one-room schoolhouse from 1881 that was relocated many years ago to land owned by our local Lions Club on Main Street in Cambria, Ca. It was home to the Allied Arts organization for many years and they've recently moved to larger space.

I'm thrilled to be moving to a ground-level, larger building with such huge community visibility right on Main Street. The building has such charm and character, including the original school bell in the tower. A rope hangs down and people are invited to ring it.

I'm honored to be asked to become the new caretaker of such a cool community asset. I'm excited to get in there and make it "mine." I'm eager to get things situation so I can get back to the process of making pottery...

But I'm also a little scared about getting everything done on time. I gave notice on March 1 and have sooooooo much to do by April 1. One step at a time...

Pretty cool, eh?

Very cool! Congrats! Will you have it all on your own or will there be other artists sharing with you?

Ho wonderful! "School of ART!" Sounds like a great opportunity -you'll get it all done by being motivated by having such wonderful space!

I remember that building and wondered why it wasn't an art studio, congrats, if I was on the West Coast I would come by and help with the move.

Hi Friends! Thanks for all the well-wishes. Man, I'm busier than a cat on glass... Isn't that the expression? Sounds wrong. Cat on a hot-tin roof? Busy, but excited. Trying to keep it all in balance so I don't get over-tired and crash!
