How to get out of an Escape Room successfully

May 20, 2017  By Enver Hoxha

Whether you are a beginner or an avid Escape Roomer, having a few ideas and tricks to get out of a room is always a big help.  Experts have compiled tips which, when used right can help participants get out 85% of the time in the escape room boca raton.

Tips on how to escape easily – Follow them to succeed

  • Making a team: Playing with friends and coworkers makes it easier, because it is easier to communicate. Strangers can sometimes make it difficult due to a different style of work.
  • Try not to populate the team to capacity. This will give everyone enough physical space and also activities to participate in.
  • Working together: More eyes on a puzzle and different ways of thinking can help in solving clues faster.
  • Passing it on: If you have been looking at a particular piece too long and can’t figure out what it is, then pass it on to another group. They will probably be able to solve it easier.
  • Working as a team: Solicit advice and opinions from your teammates. Sometimes the craziest ideas make the most sense.
  • Take new clues: If everyone concentrates on just one piece of the puzzle, then nothing gets done. Keep in mind that there is a time limit on the game. Working on new items will help in solving the puzzle faster.

  • Managing pieces better: Set up a board or a table to stack solved pieces so that you know what is left over.
  • Making used and unused piles: Separating items is a good idea because it will prevent you from wasting time on used objects.
  • Organizing items: Organizing items that are needed for the puzzle will help in finding them faster like related books and unused keys.
  • Search the location thoroughly as the clues are not all placed in one area. You will then be able to find items that are crucial to the puzzle. Some of the clues may not be very obvious either. You could find clues inside a book, in secret compartments or even in a coat pocket.
  • Divide the escape room boca raton and then go searching to cover the maximum area and also to ensure that the room has been covered comprehensively.
  • Listen to the host and what he/she had to say as they will slip in a few hints. This will help to save time in the initial phase.
  • Don’t be shy about asking for hints when you are playing the game. You will not feel so overwhelmed and may even be able to get out without needing all the clues.

The other tip to keep in mind is not to overthink. The game is supposed to be fun and when you have the right approach, you can work within the given time frame. Don’t take it personally when you lose because this will help you to learn the format and you will be successful in the future.
