Patricia I love the warm brown glaze with your wood cut images! Just gorgeous. And it's really cool that you have the family connection with the mission. I loved exploring those missions when we lived in Southern California. They are important landmarks and should be saved! I really wish I could have seen CA before the population explosion!

These cups are so lovely and tie in with my reading this week. I'm reading East of Eden from John Steinbeck, I have been in California in my mind, reading about the land and the missions and the history. These cups fit in nicely with where my head has been:) you should have these in your regular line, they would sell like crazy!

It has been so fun to see the evolution of your work, I love these fish swimming around :)
I heard that story on NPR too. I grew up on the coast eating "seafood" hardly even thinking about where it came from. Now when I eat it, I think about how many other people are eating seafood and it makes me want it less and less. I did have some freshwater farm grown shrimp recently that were amazing.... if only they will keep the chemicals and growth hormones out of the pond!

Having raised a crow, I'm kinda particular about the crows vs raven thing :-) Ravens have a "Roman nose" and are much larger than crows. Call them whatever you want though, you do beautiful work!
